Aland Acuna

Mr. Acuna is the President and CEO of Acuna Consulting Inc- an 8(a) and HUBZone certified small business that delivers innovative solutions helping organizations thrive in a digital Agile world. Mr. Acuna is a Sr. Enterprise Coach and trainer. He is a proud UMD graduate and holds over a half a dozen industry validating certifications such as SAFe Scaled Program Consultant (SPC), ICAgile Coach, DASA DevOps Coach as well is a Six Sigma Black Belt certified.

With over 15 years of experience in IT and business management, Mr. Acuna has been trusted partner with key decision makers and development teams and stakeholders whom he helped develop and lead high visibility projects using Agile methodology. As an expert facilitator he has helped create and implement Agile transformation strategies for numerous programs and teams. As versatile Sr. Enterprise coach he has extensive work experience with waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, Scaled Agile frameworks and software architectural frameworks/design. He has trained and mentored Scrum Masters, product management teams and executives teams. Aland has also led trainings in Design Thinking, DevOps implementation, Test Driven Development Strategies and Agile Leadership Trainings. Most recently he provides guidance and acts in a consulting and/or advisory capacity in the implementation of highly specialized technologies and modernizing legacy systems using machine learning, natural language processing (NLP) and emerging technologies within the public sector. Mr. Acuna’s focused on delivering human centered design and augmenting it with training, coaching, and mentoring of leaders and teams to facilitate organizational success.
