Jose Cantero

Jose Cantero is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the field of engineering, currently leading multi-project initiatives for traction power systems at Sécheron SA since August 2021, with a focus on international markets including Spain, Spanish America, and China. Previously, Jose served as an Electrical Project Manager at Gautschi Engineering GmbH, delivering turn-key projects for aluminum cast-houses, and as an Automation Project Manager at Buhler, overseeing multidisciplinary projects involving hardware, PLC, software, and SCADA systems. Additionally, Jose has experience as a Process Commissioning Engineer with Grupo Cobra, ensuring system performance and safety during start-ups, as well as roles in electrical inspection and research and development. Jose holds a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Europea, obtained in 2008.
