Jerry Towne

Jerry Towne has extensive experience in leadership and operations within both religious and law enforcement sectors. Serving as Pastor-Director of Operations at Second Baptist Church in Houston, TX, since February 1992, Towne oversees facility operations, security, life safety, transportation, and medical services. Prior to this role, Towne worked as a Police Detective for the Houston Police Department from January 1980 to June 2000, focusing on investigating homicide, kidnapping, and officer-involved shooting cases, while also handling evidence collection and preservation.
