Tikwiza Nkowane

Tikwiza Nkowane is currently the Security & Compliance Manager at Second Dinner Studios. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Privacy, Risk and Compliance Specialist at Riot Games from July 2019 to March 2022. In this role, they developed and helped build an internal privacy program and framework, assessed privacy and security risks, and advised on data protection and privacy legislation globally. Tikwiza also conducted gap assessments and advised on remediation plans.

From September 2018 to September 2020, Tikwiza worked as a Regulatory, Governance, Compliance and Accountability Advisor for 1 Million Women To Tech. In this role, they provided advice on how to comply with various regulations, including GDPR and CCPA. Tikwiza also created continuous privacy awareness campaigns and built and maintained processes for ongoing regulatory and compliance controls.
