Milan Šulc

Lead Analyst at Second Foundation

Milan Šulc's work experience includes being a Lead Analyst at Second Foundation from 2023 onward. Prior to that, they were the Head of Rossum AI Lab at Rossum from 2021 to 2023. Milan also worked as a Researcher in Computer Vision for Autonomous Driving at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague from 2019 to 2021. Milan has experience in computer vision research for home appliances at the Center for Machine Perception from 2015 to 2020. Milan had an internship as a Software Engineering Intern in the Mobile Vision team at Google in 2017. Milan had a machine learning internship at the University of Oxford in 2013. Milan started their career as a PHP Programmer & Webdesigner at CERBEROS s.r.o. from 2007 to 2008 and as a Front Office Service Desk Skoda Auto at T-Systems Czech Republic a.s. from 2006 to 2008.

Milan Šulc completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Artificial Intelligence and Biocybernetics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, from 2014 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained an Ing. (MSc.) in Computer Vision and Image Processing, and Artificial Intelligence from the same institution from 2012 to 2014. Milan also participated in an Engineering Exchange program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014. MilanŠulc earned another Ing. (MSc.) degree in Entrepreneurship and Commercial Engineering in Industry from Czech Technical University in Prague, Masaryk Institute of Advanced Studies from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained a Bc. (BSc.) in Cybernetics and Robotics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, from 2009 to 2012. Milan Šulc also participated in various summer schools including the Vision and Sports Summer School 2015 and the 1st Winter School in Computer Science and Engineering on Computer Vision, Israel 2017.
