Damon Farr

Damon Farr has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Currently, they are employed as a Cybersecurity Assessor at Second Front Systems, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they also held the same role at the company from June to May 2023.

Before joining Second Front Systems, Damon served in the United States Air Force for a significant portion of their career. Damon began their tenure in April 2000 as an Aircraft Electrician and held the position until June 2006. Damon then transitioned into the role of Computer Programmer from May 2006 to June 2008. From July 2008 to July 2011, Damon served as an Education and Training Manager. Damon continued their tenure in the Air Force by taking on the same role from August 2011 to July 2015. Later, they served as a Computer Programmer from August 2015 to October 2018. Subsequently, Damon worked as a Human Resources Manager from October 2018 to July 2020. Damon later transitioned into the position of a Cyber Security Analyst, which they currently hold, starting in July 2020.

Before their time in the Air Force, Damon completed Basic Military Training from October to November 1999. The various roles they have held in the United States Air Force have contributed to their extensive experience in cybersecurity, computer programming, and education and training management.

Damon Farr's education history begins with their completion of an Associate in Applied Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force in 2010. Additionally, in the same year, they obtained two more Associate in Applied Science degrees, one in Education and Training Management, and another in Computer Science Technology, from the same institution. Following this, in 2016, Damon Farr completed an Associate in Applied Science degree in Cybersecurity from the Community College of the Air Force.

Damon Farr is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from American Military University, which is expected to be completed in 2023.

In terms of certifications, Damon Farr obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in January 2017. Damon also acquired several project management-related certifications from Coursera, including Project Execution: Running the Project, Project Initiation: Starting a Successful Project, Foundations of Project Management, and Project Planning: Putting It All Together. These certifications were achieved between November and December 2022. Additionally, Damon Farr earned the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in January 2020.
