Manager, Corporate Relationships at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee

Erica Dawne Rivero has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Literacy Tutor at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. In 2015, they became a Deputy Field Organizer for Megan Barry's mayoral campaign and later transitioned to the role of Field Organizer. Erica Dawne also served as a member of the Mayoral Transition Team at the Metro Nashville Mayors Office.

In 2016, Rivero held multiple positions, including President of the Belmont University Panhellenic Association, Outreach Director for Young Leadership Council at Women for Tennessee's Future, and Field Organizer for Vote Sydney Rogers. Erica Dawne then joined Scout & Molly's as an Assistant Store Manager, where they were responsible for training new hires and managing staff scheduling.

From 2017 to 2021, Rivero worked at Thistle Farms, initially as a Marketing Intern and later taking on roles such as Marketing Coordinator, Customer Experience Manager, Purchasing & Sourcing Manager, and Director of Inventory and Systems Management. Erica Dawne contributed to increasing corporate fundraising by over 50% and generating $750k to support women survivors.

Currently, Rivero is the Manager of Corporate Relationships at Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, where they execute sponsorship strategies and secures revenue with prospects across various industries in Davidson County.

Throughout their career, Rivero has demonstrated a strong commitment to community engagement, fundraising, and team leadership.

Erica Dawne Rivero completed their International Baccalaureate Diploma from Cookeville High School between 2009 and 2013. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science and Sociology from Belmont University between 2013 and 2017.
