Andrea Johnson

Andrea Johnson is an experienced purchasing specialist currently working at Second Harvest Heartland since October 2021. Previously, Andrea served as the grant accounting manager at Hired from June 2019 to June 2020, managing billing for cost reimbursement grants and acting as a liaison between accounting and programmatic departments. From May 2015 to June 2019, Andrea worked as a sourcing specialist at The Food Group Minnesota, focusing on product purchasing for various programs. Additional experience includes a role as a customer service representative at UP Coffee Roasters and as a bulk replenisher at Lakewinds Natural Foods. Andrea began a career in marketing and development through a VISTA position at Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in International Food Business and Consumer Studies from the University of Kassel and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
