Brian Oliu is an accomplished content strategist and story strategist with extensive experience in academia and the creative industry. Currently, Brian serves as a Content Strategist at Second Harvest Heartland since July 2023. As a Story Strategist and Copywriter for Armed Mind since May 2014, Brian has contributed strategic insights and developed successful marketing campaigns for notable film, television, and gaming IPs, including award-winning projects for X-Men: Days of Future Past and Deadpool. Brian's academic experience includes serving as Adjunct Graduate Faculty at the University of North Alabama and as Assistant Director of First-Year Writing at The University of Alabama, where responsibilities encompassed administrative management and instructional design. A former Director at Slash Pine Press, Brian fostered creative initiatives within the Alabama literary community. Brian holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The University of Alabama and a BA in English from Loyola University Maryland.
