Ethan Neal

Ethan Neal has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on food systems and community support. Ethan most recently worked as the Director of Partner Operations at Second Harvest Heartland starting in February 2023. Prior to that, Ethan held various roles at Pillsbury United Communities, including Food Systems Manager, Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional, Case Manager, and Director of Food Systems. In their role as Director of Food Systems, Ethan led a diverse team to provide meals, groceries, and homegrown produce to the community while also working on finding upstream solutions to food insecurity and strengthening connections between corporations, nonprofits, and the community.

Ethan Neal has a diverse education history, including both a degree and a certification. In 2012, they began their undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota, majoring in cultural anthropology. Ethan completed their degree in 2015. Their academic pursuits then led him to gain a certification as a Certified Professional Project Manager from the University of St. Thomas in 2021, specializing in project management. Additionally, Ethan has obtained a certification as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional from the Department of Human Services, although the month and year of its acquisition are not provided.
