Sofia Brown

Sofia Brown has extensive experience in community engagement and operations, currently serving as the CSFP Distribution Lead and previously as the CSFP Distribution Coordinator at Second Harvest Heartland since November 2021. Prior roles include Volunteer Coordinator and Assistant Operations Manager at Basic Needs Inc of South Washington County, and Community Engagement Specialist at Schoolhouse Supplies. Sofia also contributed as an AmeriCorps Member with AmeriCorps VISTA and held positions focusing on social media and marketing at FOTB, Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, and Dr. Jan Hoistad Partners. Additionally, Sofia served as a Youth Soccer Coach at Tonka United Soccer Club. Sofia holds a degree in Planning, Public Policy, and Management from the University of Oregon.
