Tristan Lecomte

Tristan Lecomte is a social entrepreneur with extensive experience in sustainable development and circular economy initiatives. As the Founder of Second Life Plastics since October 2019, Tristan leads efforts to collect and recycle ocean plastics through community partnerships, achieving certification under the Verra standard for innovative circular supply chains. Prior to this, Tristan founded PUR Projet, a leader in nature-based solutions that successfully implemented projects in 40 countries, planting 18 million trees. Tristan also co-founded the International Platform for Insetting to foster collaboration among organizations in the insetting field. Earlier career achievements include founding Alter Eco, a prominent Fair Trade and Organic brand, and holding a managerial position in Pricewaterhouse's sustainability department. Educational credentials include degrees from HEC Paris and Harvard Kennedy School, with a focus on business administration and social enterprise development.
