Gregg G. Williams

Gregg G. Williams has been a member of Second Sight Medical Products Board of Directors since June 2009 and was elected to serve as its Chairman of the Board in March of 2018. Mr. Williams is SSMP’s largest shareholder.

Mr. Williams is currently the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Williams International Co., LLC (www.williams-int.com). Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Williams held several key managerial positions within the company including President & Chief Operating Officer; Vice President, Advanced Technology; Director, Program Management; and Director, Engineering. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah and holds numerous patents related to gas turbine engines, turbo machinery, and control systems. Mr. Williams also serves on the Board of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association and is a past member of the Young Presidents Organization and Henry Ford Health System’s board of trustees. He is an active pilot with multiengine, instrument and seaplane ratings. Our board believes that Mr. Williams’ executive and managerial experience combined with his leadership skills make him well qualified to serve as one of our directors.
