Jim Joseph

Director of Operations at Second Stage

Jim Joseph is the current Director of Operations at Second Stage. Jim has previously worked as the Director of Operations at A.R.T./New York and as a Venue Manager at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. In February 2018, they gave a talk at TEDx Broadway about the importance of diversity in the Broadway world.

Jim Joseph completed a 14 week intensive program at the Commercial Theater Institute in the field of Advanced Topics for Commercial Producers and Managers. Jim also attended the Arts Leadership Institute (a program of the Arts & Buisness Council of NYC). In addition, they completed a 3 day intensive at the Commercial Theatre Institute. Finally, they hold a BA from Marist College in Communications: Radio/TV/film.

Jim Joseph reports to Carole Rothman, President & Artistic Director. Some individuals on their team include Ricky Deosarran - Chief Engineer, Hayes Theater, Richard Ponce - House Manager, Hayes Theater, and Lutchman Steven Ganpat - Building Manager. They are on a team with Brianna Sauvage - Director of Special Events, Manuel Bejarano - Director of HR, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, and Artie Sievers - Director of Ticket Services.
