Megan Thiele

Megan Thiele, SPHR, currently serves as the Director of HR and Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion at Second Stage Theatre since June 2023. Previously, Megan worked as a Consultant at Echoing Green, where responsibilities included search and screening activities for social impact entrepreneurs from August 2022 to June 2023. Prior to that, Megan held several HR roles at StoryCorps from July 2008 to December 2021, culminating in the position of Managing Director of Human Resources, where key achievements included leading the HR function, managing a team of three, and driving various organizational initiatives. Earlier experience includes an HR Administration Analyst position at Dell, Inc., where on-boarding support was provided to both talent acquisition and hiring managers. Education includes a BA in English and Linguistics from The University of Texas at Austin, an Artist Diploma in Instrumental Music from the High School for the Performing & Visual Arts, and ongoing studies at Harvard Extension School.
