Andrew Sypkes

Andrew Sypkes is an accomplished CEO with extensive experience in venture capital and corporate development. Since 2008, Andrew has led the Sypkes Family Office, focusing on long-term investments in technology ventures from Series A to mid-caps, with notable investments including Canva and Zoox. In 2019, Andrew co-founded SecondQuarter Ventures, pioneering a dedicated venture secondaries fund manager for the Australian and New Zealand markets. Previously, Andrew served as Corporate Development Director at Azure Wireless, contributing to the establishment of Australia’s first public WiFi network, and worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, where responsibilities included leading strategic consulting projects for financial services firms. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania.
