Ian Beatty

Ian Beatty is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in funding and growth advisory, particularly within the fintech, traveltech, and media sectors. As the Cofounder and Managing Partner at SecondQuarter Ventures since July 2019, Ian has played a pivotal role in guiding select clients, including Auto Service Finance and AYU Hedge Fund Networks. Prior to this, Ian served as an Executive at Blue Ocean Equities, Director at HAUTELIST LIMITED, and Managing Director at Fair Value Capital, where significant fundraising successes such as £30m for Eduko were achieved. Ian's investment management experience includes a decade at Taverners Group, and contributions as a Hedge Fund Manager at Victoria Capital. Additionally, Ian held a Vice President position at Hindal Corporate and began a career in research and analysis with internet.com. Ian holds dual degrees in Psychology and Modern History, as well as Economics and Finance from the University of Melbourne, complemented by further education at the University of Oxford.
