Etkin Kara

Mr. Kara is an Associate Director with 13 years of experience in the construction industry, which includes more than eight years specializing in construction consulting and dispute resolution services. He specializes in claims preparation, project scheduling and providing dispute resolution services, such as performing delay and quantum analyses, and preparing expert reports and presentations, on large scale construction and engineering projects. His delay analysis experience includes schedule delay and planning review; preparation and review of schedule and analyses relating to matters of delay, disruption, productivity, time impacts, and acceleration.

Mr. Kara’s roles ranged from construction consulting, dispute resolution services, construction field organizations, project scheduling and project budgeting, quality control as well as structural and civil engineering. His experience concentrates on issues involving the preparation of expert reports and presentations involving various aspects of dispute resolution, project and contract management, delay issues and claim preparation.

He has been involved in a wide range of large construction and engineering projects including research projects regarding highways in the US, LNG Plant in North Eastern Australia, oil refineries in Suriname and Chile, hotel constructions in New York and Washington, DC, airport in Oman, light rail network in Ottawa, Canada, bus and train terminals in California, subway station in Ontario, Canada, rapid transit rail network in U.A.E. and entertainment complex in Russia, as well as multiple private projects around the world.
