Secret Hut
Mikael Lugnegård has a diverse work experience in the field of 3D art and design. Mikael started their career as a freelance teacher at the University of Umea in 2006, where they worked until 2009. In 2003, Mikael founded Lugnegård Design, where they served as a concept designer. In 2016, they joined 3D Nord AB as a senior 3D artist, responsible for exterior visualization and workflow development. Mikael worked there until 2019, gaining valuable experience in 3DS Max. Mikael then pursued self-employment as a freelance 3D artist in 2019. Since 2020, they have been working as an art director at Maximum Entertainment, where they recently completed their tenure in February 2023. Mikael's most recent role is a senior 3D artist at Secret Hut, where they started in February 2023.
Mikael Lugnegård attended Umeå University from 2002 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design.

Secret Hut is an independent game studio, based in Sweden. The company is run by long-serving artisans of the game dev trade. Driven by curiosity and a passion for play, we started our journey back in the days of tape decks and TAC-2s. Now, decades later, we’ve gone from startup to blockbuster many times, and reached an audience of millions. It's been a wild ride so far, we've had tons of fun and learned so much - and we're not done yet! We're still curious, and still in love with the game.
