Adeel Zahir

Adeel Zahir has extensive work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Adeel is currently working as a Software Test Engineer at Sector Labs since 2022. Prior to this, Adeel worked at Dubizzle Labs, where they held multiple roles. Adeel started as a Software Test Engineer in November 2017 and worked until January 2019. During this time, they contributed to the development team and helped with making releases multiple times a week. In February 2019, Adeel was promoted to the position of Principal Software Test Engineer, where they optimized and refactored the test framework for multiple projects, significantly improving its efficiency. Adeel also introduced visual tests in the pipeline to enhance the reliability of automated tests. In May 2020, they transitioned to the role of Software Quality Assurance Team Lead, where they built a goal-oriented team, onboarded Test Automation Engineers, and continued to support the development team's release cycles. Adeel previously worked as a Software Test Automation Engineer at Punch Group from November 2016 to November 2017 and as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Tintash from July 2015 to November 2016. Adeel began their career with a summer internship at National Engineering Services Pakistan (Pvt) Limited (NESPAK) in July and August 2014.

Adeel Zahir completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Beaconhouse from 1996 to 2009, although the degree name and field of study for that period have not been provided.
