Alex Sfirlea

Alex Sfirlea has a diverse work experience in software development. Alex started their career as an intern at Telenav in 2017, where they developed a mobile app for internal use. In 2018, they joined Sector Labs as a Software Developer, focusing mainly on backend work. During this time, they implemented a duplicate image detection system using PSQL and RabbitMQ. Alex also worked on multiple mobile applications for OLX, with a total of 9 apps and 10 million monthly users. Alex used technologies like React Native, ElasticSearch, AWS, and Firebase for these projects. In 2016, Alex participated in the Ni student challenge at National Instruments and created an intelligent robot that could solve the Rubik's cube, setting a national record.

Alex Sfirlea completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming at the Technical University of Cluj Napoca from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Colegiul National Emil Racovita from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their Bacalaureat degree with a focus on Mathematics and Computer Science. Additionally, Alex has obtained certifications in Bacalaureat from the Ministerul Educatiei and CAE from Cambridge University Press, although the specific acquisition dates are not provided.
