Daniel Forsberg

Daniel Forsberg has extensive experience in the medical IT field, particularly in artificial intelligence and medical imaging. Since joining Sectra in August 2006, Daniel has held various roles including Line Manager for Radiology AI, where oversight of a team of DevOps engineers is paramount, and AI Lead, focusing on promoting and integrating AI into clinical workflows. Daniel has also contributed significantly as a Product Owner, developing strategies for Sectra's SaaS solutions, and as a Senior Research Scientist involved in AI/ML projects. Prior experience includes postdoctoral research at Case Western Reserve University, and positions at Linköping University where Daniel explored digital pathology. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Medical Informatics and an MSc in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering.
