Axel Deininger

Axel Deininger has extensive experience in the technology and security sectors, currently serving as CEO and Member of the Management Board at secunet Security Networks AG since January 2018. Prior to this role, Axel Deininger held the position of Senior Group VP at Giesecke+Devrient from March 2007 to December 2017 and served as Assistant Director and Marketing Head for the Smartcard IC business in Europe at Samsung Semiconductor from April 2006 to February 2007. Additional experience includes tenures as Sr. Director and Assistant to the CEO at Infineon Technologies from May 1999 to March 2006, and Product Manager at Siemens from July 1997 to April 1999. Academic credentials include a Master in Engineering and Economics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, along with further education at IESE Business School, Babson College, and LUT University.
