Scott Homa has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Scott currently works at SECURA Insurance as a Product Manager in Commercial Lines. Prior to this, they worked at RLI Insurance Company as a Product Manager in Professional and Financial Products, where they were responsible for the development and implementation of specialty commercial financial insurance product lines. Scott also held various roles at Pekin Insurance, including Commercial Lines Underwriting Training Specialist and Commercial Lines Territory Underwriter. In these positions, they were involved in training and providing support for commercial lines insurance policies and programs. Additionally, they have experience in P&C claim handling and claim management at multiple insurance companies. Before entering the insurance industry, Scott worked at Unland Companies as Vice President, overseeing the operations of the Central Illinois Agent's Alliance, and at Mid Illinois Insurance Services as a P&C and L&H Insurance Sales representative. Scott obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification from The Institutes in 2012 and is currently in good standing with this certification as of December 2021. In addition, they obtained the Associate in Claims (AIC) certification in 2004, the Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU) certification in 2013, and the Associate in Management (AIM) certification from The Institutes.
