Betsy Whisler

Betsy Whisler has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Betsy'smost recent position is as a Digital Payments Manager at SECURA Insurance since 2022. Prior to this, they were a Co-founder and Business Owner at Benjamin Brewer LLC from 2018. Betsy was responsible for strategic planning and managing the operations of a small coffee business.

Betsy also has extensive experience in the banking sector. At Cornerstone Advisors from 2021 to 2022, they served as a Director Consulting Services, utilizing their 20+ years of banking and strategic planning experience to help financial institutions achieve their goals. At Thrivent Credit Union, they held several senior positions. As SVP, Consumer Banking from 2017 to 2021, they handled P&L responsibility and managed consumer lending and operations. Earlier, as SVP, Operations and Product Management and VP, Operations and Product Management, they oversaw product development, operations, and provided executive leadership across the consumer banking line of business.

Before entering the banking industry, Betsy worked as an Advanced Service Representative at Thrivent from 2007 to 2010 and as an ESOP Administrator at Principal Financial Group from 2006 to 2007. Additionally, they have experience in management roles at M&I Bank and Fox Cities Bank, where they supervised teams and provided excellent customer service.

Betsy's earlier experience also includes roles as a Warranty Administrator at Bergstrom Automotive and as a Teller and Loan Officer at Fox Cities Bank.

Throughout their career, Betsy has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, financial management, operations, and customer service.

Betsy Whisler earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Betsy attended the university from 1999 to 2003.
