Kate Vilaychack-Rizzo has an extensive work experience in regulatory affairs and quality assurance in the biotechnology and healthcare industries. Kate most recently served as the Executive Director of Global Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Compliance at Secura Bio, Inc. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Director, GxP QA & RA at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. Kate also served as the Senior Director, QA/RA at Biocept, Inc. and as the Global Executive Director RA/QA at ZENSUN USA, Inc. Kate has experience as a Director, RA/QA at Integrated Orbital Implants and as a Senior Manager, RA/QA at Teleflex Medical. Kate began their career in regulatory affairs and quality assurance at CytRx Corporation.

Kate Vilaychack-Rizzo received a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago in 1992. In 2004, they obtained a Master of Science in Regulatory Affairs with a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from San Diego State University.
