James Bierly

James Bierly is a seasoned Cyber Security Consultant and Founder of Secure Point Solutions, where services are provided to enhance security in Iowa and the surrounding region since August 2019. A member of InfraGard since October 2020, this partnership with the FBI focuses on U.S. protection. Previously, James served as a Lead Cybersecurity Instructor at ThriveDX, guiding students toward careers in cybersecurity. With extensive experience in various technical roles, including Lead Assessment Engineer at a managed service provider and Windows Systems Administrator at DuPont Pioneer, James has demonstrated expertise in network and security assessments, system administration, and managed security services. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University and an AAS in Information Technology Network Administration from Kaplan University.
