John Cocorozis has extensive experience in cyber security and IT systems engineering, currently serving as the SOC Team Lead and Lead Analyst at Secure Sphere Consulting (Pty) Ltd from January 2023 to July 2024. Previously, John held the position of Security Operations Centre Lead at Silent Guardian Pty Ltd from July 2020 to December 2022, and served as a Cyber Security Practitioner at Bowline Security from July 2019 to March 2020. Additional roles include Independent IT Consultant/Contractor as a Systems Engineer/IT Security from September 2017 to June 2019, and Systems Engineer at CWExcellerate from April 2016 to August 2017, as well as at Old Mutual Investment Group from February 2012 to March 2016. Education was completed at Beachwood Boys High from 1986 to 1988.
