Mike Walder

Mike Walder has over 35 years of experience in the technology industry. Mike began their career in 1984 as an Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer at GTE Government Systems, where they were responsible for project management, systems engineering, and software development. In 1989, they moved to A Hawaii Consulting Company, where they served as a Senior Project Manager and Systems Engineer. In 1992, they joined Martin, Walder & Associates as a VP and PM/Systems Engineer. Finally, in 1994, they became the CEO of Secure Technology Hawaii, Inc., where they have provided expert security and disaster recovery solutions and managed services for the past 25 years.

Mike Walder began their educational journey in 1976 when they attended Winston Churchill High School. In 1979, they went on to Oregon State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Mike then attended Santa Clara University from 1984 to 1987, studying Engineering Management. In 1987, they took a Pave Pillar Architecture Class at the University of California, Los Angeles. Finally, in 2000, they earned their Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2.
