Michael Plott, CPA, CISA has over 20 years of experience in the audit and risk management fields. Michael began their career in 1998 as an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young. In 2002, they moved to Schering-Plough as an Audit Project Manager. In 2005, they joined Citigroup as an Audit Manager - Audit Risk and Review. From 2006 to 2019, they worked at BD, first as an IT Audit Manager and then as Director/IT Audit Director Internal Audit. In 2019, they joined Wyndham Hotels & Resorts as an IT Audit Director. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Director of Internal Audit Services at SecureIT, where they assist clients meet their risk management and audit goals through staff augmentation or project outsourcing. Specific projects include controls assessments and integration planning during M&A process, and readiness assessments for security compliance frameworks incorporating FedRAMP, CMMC, NIST 800-171, and FISMA.

Michael Plott, CPA, CISA earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance from Mount St. Mary's University between 1987 and 1991.
