Joe Blackshaw

Joe Blackshaw has over 20 years of work experience in the IT and security fields. From 2019 to present, they have been the Director of Consulting at SecureSky. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Director of Professional Security Services Operations at NTT Security, where they oversaw all operational aspects of the security consulting services and provided technical and functional expertise to clients and coworkers. From 2009 to 2016, they held various roles at Solutionary, including Sr. Manager of Managed Devices, Manager of Security Consulting Services, Sr. Security Consultant, and Security Consultant. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Network Services IT Security at Lockheed Martin. From 2005 to 2008, they worked at Journey Christian Center as IT Security / Web Developer/ Youth Pastor. From 2004 to 2005, they were the IT Security Manager and Network Administrator at Pacific Dive Services. From 1999 to 2004, they were the IT Supervisor at Gart Sports.

Joe Blackshaw obtained their Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Colorado Boulder between 1995 and 1999. Joe has also obtained several certifications, including a Certified ISO Lead Implementer from BSI in 2014, a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the Cloud Security Alliance, a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council, a Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) from EC-Council, a Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) from EC-Council, an ISO 27001 Lead Implementer from BSI, a Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) from EC-Council, a PCI - Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) from the PCI Security Standards Council, and a Payment Application - Qualified Security Assessor (PA-QSA) from the PCI Security Standards Council.
