Vivek Kokkengada

Vivek Kokkengada is the VP of Products at Securiti. Vivek has over fifteen years of experience in product management and marketing. Vivek has previously served as the Director of Product Management at Symantec, the Principal Product Manager at Elastica, and the Product Line Manager at FireEye, Inc.

Kokkengada began their career as a Network Engineer at PeakXV Networks before moving into management and consulting roles at Deloitte. Vivek then transitioned into the tech industry, joining Cisco Systems as a Senior Product Manager in 2010. At Cisco, they were responsible for leading cross-functional product teams, developing product roadmaps, and managing product Go-To Market plans. Vivek also drove marketing programs, including direct marketing, promotions, seminars, and press releases.

In 2015, Kokkengada left Cisco to join FireEye, Inc. as a Product Line Manager. Vivek then moved to Elastica in 2016, where they served as Principal Product Manager before taking on the role of Director of Product Management at Symantec in 2018. Kokkengada joined Securiti in November 2018 and has been serving as the VP of Products since then.

Vivek Kokkengada holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Engineering from Dalhousie University. In addition, they have completed several certification programs from Coursera, including courses in Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization, Machine Learning, R Programming, and The Data Scientist’s Toolbox. Vivek also holds the CISSP certification from (ISC)².
