Anita Wieja-Caruba

Anita Wieja-Caruba is currently serving as an Advisor at the CEO Office of the Securities & Commodities Authority since October 2025. Prior experience includes Associate Director of Policy & Legal at the Dubai Financial Services Authority from February 2014 to October 2025, where responsibilities encompassed investment funds, capital markets, bank prudential regulation, and strategic development initiatives. Previous roles include Senior Manager in Strategy, Policy & Risk at the European Commission, where engagements involved financial market infrastructures and international trade partnerships, and extensive legal advisory roles at BNP Paribas, King & Wood Mallesons, the Office of Fair Trading, and the European Commission. Anita holds multiple degrees from prestigious institutions, including a law degree from the University of Silesia and various executive education programs at Harvard Law School, MIT Sloan School of Management, and Cambridge Judge Business School.
