James Janousek

James Janousek began their work experience as the Director of Research at the Kansas Department of Commerce in 1996. James worked in this role until 2001. Following this, they became a Senior Manager at Westar Energy from July 2001 to August 2003. James then joined Security Benefit Corporation as an HR Program Manager in August 2003 and remained in this role until their retirement in August 2019.

James Janousek received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The University of Kansas, where they studied from 1978 to 1982. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Psychology from Emporia State University, completing their studies in 1983.
