Micah Shearer

Micah Shearer has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. From 2009 to 2010, Micah worked as a Volunteer Maryland Coordinator, where they designed and implemented volunteer management systems and created effective communications strategies for fundraising events. In 2010, they became a Program Associate at Asian American LEAD, managing mentoring programs and delivering workshops for middle school students. In 2011, Micah was promoted to DC Programs Program Manager at the same organization, overseeing after-school and summer programs for low-income Asian American students, managing a team, and developing curriculum. Since 2016, Micah has been working as the COO of Security Camera Warehouse, a company that sells professional-quality surveillance equipment, where they are responsible for finance and operations.

Micah Shearer obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from Lee University. This degree was completed between the years 2001 and 2004. Later, Micah pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Chinese Intellectual History from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which was achieved during the period from 2007 to 2009.
