Ellie Soroush, PhD. CISSP, PCIP has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Ellie currently holds a role as a Senior Security Researcher at Security Compass, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Security Researcher at the same company from January 2022 to January 2023, and as an Associate Security Researcher from June 2021 to December 2021.

In addition to their industry experience, Ellie has also worked as a Professor at Seneca College from January 2021 to February 2022, where they shared their expertise in cybersecurity with students.

Before joining Security Compass and Seneca College, Ellie served as a Senior Information Security Consultant at Faraconesh Corporation for a period of five years, from 2013 to 2018. In this role, they were part of a highly skilled team specializing in cyber security. Ellie Soroush, PhD. CISSP, PCIP has an extensive education history. Ellie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Sharif University of Technology. Ellie further pursued their academic journey and obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Tehran. Ellie also completed another Master's Degree in Philosophy of Science from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic. Ellie's educational journey culminated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Philosophy of Science and Technology from the Institute of Humanities and Cultural Studies.

Not only is Ellie highly educated, but they have also obtained various certifications. Ellie is a Payment Card Industry Professional (PCIP) certified by the PCI Security Standards Council. In addition, they have received the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
