Hrdayesh Patel

Hrdayesh Patel has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology, particularly in the areas of DevOps, infrastructure development, and system administration. Hrdayesh started their career in 2004 at Canfone.com Inc., where they worked as a Systems Administrator and Web Developer. During their time there, they designed and developed web applications for e-commerce customers and provided training and technical support for their services.

In 2007, Hrdayesh joined BlackBerry as a Software Tools Developer and later transitioned to the role of Web GWT Developer. Hrdayesh then worked as a Java Developer, responsible for designing and implementing monitoring applications for BlackBerry services. Hrdayesh upgraded and optimized legacy tools while accommodating service growth.

From 2010 to 2013, Hrdayesh served as a Systems Architect for BlackBerry Infrastructure Labs. In this role, they defined the labs' architecture, built large-scale environments for testing failover scenarios, and provided technical leadership. Hrdayesh also coordinated and trained an offshore development team.

Hrdayesh then moved on to become a Senior Service Specialist at BlackBerry, where they worked on projects related to BlackBerry Messenger and the Virtual SIM Platform (VSP). Hrdayesh was responsible for software quality, architecture design, implementation, and support/maintenance of BlackBerry services. Hrdayesh automated deployment processes and contributed to capacity planning and validation.

In 2017, Hrdayesh joined Security Compass, where they initially worked as an Infrastructure Developer. Hrdayesh later took on the roles of Senior DevOps Engineer and currently holds the position of DevOps Manager.

Throughout their career, Hrdayesh has demonstrated expertise in various technologies and frameworks, such as Chef, HAProxy, Tomcat, OpenNebula, Kafka, Logstash, and Postgres DB. Hrdayesh is proficient in languages like Ruby and Python and has experience with networking protocols, operating systems, and software testing.

Hrdayesh's work experience reflects their ability to handle diverse responsibilities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the quality and scalability of software implementations.

Hrdayesh Patel obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Mathematics from Wilfrid Laurier University. In December 2014, they also obtained a certification in Fundamentals of Computing Specialization (Python) from Coursera Verified Certificates.
