George Fourlas, Ph.D., is an accomplished UX Researcher specializing in AI and Responsible AI at Capital One since July 2022. Concurrently, George serves as a Senior Researcher and Managing Editor at Security in Context and Global Insecurity, and co-editor of the Radical Philosophy Review. Previously, George held the position of SHIFT Endowed Associate Professor of Applied Ethics at Hampshire College until December 2023 and has also served as a Visiting Instructor at Worcester State University. George's research experience includes a tenure as a Visiting Researcher at GLOBERNANCE and a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon. George earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Oregon and holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Legal Studies from the University of San Francisco.
