Rodney Rupp

Rodney Rupp has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Rodney is currently working as a Senior Sales Engineer at Security Information Systems, LLC since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Field Sales Engineer at Biamp from September 2019 to June 2022 and as a Regional Sales Engineer at Bose Professional from March 2018 to September 2019.

Before joining Bose Professional, Rodney spent several years at HARMAN International, where they held the positions of Business Development Manager - US Distribution Accounts - Sales Application Engineer from January 2015 to March 2018, and Field Support Manager from March 2012 to January 2015. In their role as Field Support Manager, they managed a team responsible for assisting customers with product-related issues and system design.

Rodney's work experience also includes being an Applications Engineer at IED from September 1999 to March 2012. Rodney worked closely with various stakeholders, including coaches, players, stadium staff, and broadcasters.

Earlier in their career, Rodney served as a Project Manager at Electrical Equipment Company Inc from April 1994 to September 1999. In this position, they handled pro sound design, consultation, sales, project management, installation crew leadership, commissioning, and training of sound systems. Rodney also had experience in voice/data cabling, fiber optics, networking, CCTV, MATV, Bogen Intercom, security, fire alarm, and other low voltage systems. Additionally, they served as the office Norvell Network Administrator.

Rodney began their career as a Field Technician at ESCO Communications from February 1991 to July 1994. In this role, they focused on pro sound systems for schools, universities, corporate headquarters, and convention centers. Rodney also conducted acoustic evaluations and system designs for industrial life safety applications. Rodney gained experience in installing various systems such as CCTV, CATV, MATV, nurse call, doctor locator, surgical intercoms, distance learning, Crestron, and remote conferencing.
