Travis Newton

Travis Newton has a wealth of work experience in various roles within the mortgage lending industry. Travis is currently serving as the VP of Production at Synergy One Lending since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Coach-Varsity Basketball at Cascade School District from 1995 to 2022. From 2016 to 2021, they served as an Area Manager at Academy Mortgage Corporation. Before that, they held the same position at Guild Mortgage from 2011 to 2016 and at Bank of England Mortgage from 2009 to 2011. Travis also worked as the Chief Executive Officer at Todays Mortgage Group from 2005 to 2009, and as a Loan Officer at Mortgage West from 2000 to 2005.

Travis Newton completed their education at Chemeketa Community College from 1995 to 1998, obtaining a degree in Education with a field of study in Mortgage Finance. Before that, they attended Cascade High School from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a degree in General Studies with a focus on Mortgage Finance. In 2016, Travis also received a certification from Homes for Heroes® as the #1 Lender in the Nation, although the specific month of attainment is unknown.
