Tim Duffy has a vast and varied work experience spanning over three decades. Their most recent position was as the SVP - SBA Manager at Security State Bank & Trust, starting in April 2020. Prior to that, they held the role of Chief of Government Guaranteed Lending at Spirit of Texas Bank from March 2018 to February 2020, where they were responsible for all SBA lending and other government guaranteed lending. Tim also served as the SBA Office President at Spirit of Texas Bank from January 2009 to April 2018, closing and funding over 2,000 SBA loans and winning the 2011 Mid America Outstanding Lender Award.
Before joining Spirit of Texas Bank, Tim worked as the SBA Office President at Royal Oaks Bank/First Bank from May 2004 to January 2009, where the bank won the SBA's Rising Star Award. Prior to that, they were the SBA Office President at Partners Bank from June 2002 to May 2004.
Tim's earlier experiences include serving as the Executive Vice President at Houston Savings Bank from August 1998 to June 2002, President of the Champions Branch at First Bank - Katy from June 1992 to August 1998, Assistant Vice President at Bank IV from June 1990 to September 1991, Vice President at OMNI BANK from June 1990 to September 1991, and Assistant Vice President at First City National Bank from June 1988 to June 1990.

Tim Duffy began their education in 1981 at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance in 1985. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General at The University of Texas at Austin from 1987 to 1988.
