Walt Harris

Walt Harris has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Walt started their career at Citizens State Bank as an Operations and Lending Assistant from January 2006 to May 2007. Walt then joined the Texas Department of Banking as a Financial Examiner from September 2007 to August 2012, where they performed loan reviews, ensured compliance with regulations, and prepared examination reports. Currently, Walt is working at Security State Bank & Trust as a Vice President, where they serve as a Loan Officer and assists with branch management duties. Their portfolio includes credits ranging from $16.5 million to small consumer loans. In March 2017, they were promoted to the role of Senior Vice President Branch President.

Walt Harris attended Texas Tech University from 2002 to 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Finance.
