Meg Perron, Certified vCISO, MBA, has a long and varied work experience. Meg began their career in 1993 as an Operations Manager at the Super 8 Hotel. In 2009, they moved into education, taking a role as a Mathematics Educator at the Baraboo School District. Meg continued in education, taking a role as a Mathematics Educator at the School District of Kettle Moraine in 2012. In 2014, they became Principal at Hustisford High School. In 2016, they moved to the Racine Unified School District, taking on the role of Instructional Coach. In 2019, they became a STEM Coach at the School District of Beloit. In 2021, they returned to school, taking on the role of Cyber Security Student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2022, they took on two roles, becoming Cyber Security Analyst at WELS and CvCISO Program Director at SecurityStudio.
Meg Perron, Certified vCISO, MBA has an extensive education history. Meg received their High School Diploma from Rockford East High in 1983. Meg then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Education from Western Illinois University in 1987, majoring in Elementary Education and Teaching. In 1991, they earned their Masters in Business Administration from Western Illinois University, majoring in Business Administration and Management. From 2012 to 2014, Meg earned their Masters in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University, majoring in Educational Leadership and Administration, General, and Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision. In 2021, Meg enrolled in a Cyber Security Boot Camp at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in Cyber Security and Networking. In addition to their degrees, Meg has obtained numerous certifications, including Certified vCISO - Level 2 from SecurityStudio in May 2022, Become a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from LinkedIn in February 2022, and Director Of Curriculum And Instruction and School Principal from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction in July 2014.
