Gianni Perez

Gianni Perez, MS, currently serves as a Cyber Threat Senior Analyst and Threat Hunter at EY since August 2020, while also contributing as a writer for Gigasheet and SecurityTrails since November 2020. Additionally, Gianni holds a position as an Adjunct Instructor at the University of Central Florida. Prior experience includes working as a Security Analyst in the Security Advisory & Integrity Division at IBM from September 2017 to August 2020, and as a SOC Manager at Verizon Enterprise Solutions from January 2012 to August 2017, where advanced analysis of network and log data was performed to identify threats. Previous roles encompass network administration at Physicians Development Program and technical instruction at Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Gianni earned a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Information Security from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Geology, and Computer Science and Networking from Florida International University. An Associate in Arts in Computer Science was obtained from Miami Dade College.
