Ritam Chakrovorty

Ritam Chakrovorty has over 10 years of professional experience in network engineering. In 2010, they began their career as a Network Engineer with V-Soft Consulting Group, Inc. where they worked with major financial and insurance client organizations in high volume production networks. Ritam then moved to New York Life Insurance Company as a Network Service Engineer (Consultant) in 2011. In 2013, they joined Amazon as a Network Engineer where they worked at Amazon's AWS for their high volume next generation network. After that, they worked as a Level 3 Network Engineer (Consultant) at Atos from 2014 to 2015 and as a Network SME (Consultant) at the NYC Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications from 2015 to 2017. Ritam then became a Senior Network Engineer (Consultant) at NEX from 2017 to 2019. Since 2019, they have been working as a Senior Network Engineer and Solutions Architect at SecurView, Inc. In this role, they have been leading service delivery, technical Pre-Sales, Statement of Work and Post-sales efforts for Cisco DNA Center and SD-Access. Ritam has also been involved in hands-on SD-Access network Design, PoC design, customer workshop and deployment, as well as partner and vendor collaboration, testing and recommendations about new features for SD-Access including TrustSec and Segmentation. Additionally, they have been working as a Senior Network Engineer (Consultant - NEX is now part of CME) at CME Group since 2019.

Ritam Chakrovorty obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2006, majoring in Electronics Engineering. Ritam then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, which they completed in 2010. In addition, they have obtained a Palo Alto Accredited Configuration Engineer PAN-OS 7.0 (ACE) certification from Palo Alto Networks in August 2017 and is currently working towards obtaining CCIE R/S Written, CCNA (Routing and Switching), and CCNP (Routing and Switching) certifications from Cisco.
