Courtney Bell

Courtney Bell's work experience includes being a Cyber Operations Engineer at Sedara since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GIAC Certifications, where they held roles as Lead Information Security Engineer from September 2021 to May 2022, and as Technical Director from August 2011 to September 2021. Before joining GIAC Certifications, they worked at Rich Products Corporation as an Information Security Administrator from June 2008 to August 2011, and as an EDI Coordinator from March 2006 to June 2008. Courtney also has experience as a Service Applications Administrator at Inergex from July 2004 to March 2006.

Courtney Bell attended the Empire State University from 2022 to 2024, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2015, Courtney pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Security Engineering at the SANS Technology Institute. Additionally, from 2000 to 2004, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York.

- In 2021, they completed the Lab Developer Workshop - Divvy up the Cloud with Cloud Slice at Learn on Demand Systems.

- In 2020, they obtained the Psychological First Aid certification from John Hopkins University.

- In 2019, Courtney became an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security.

- In 2010, they received the Amateur Radio Operator (Technician Class) certification from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

- In 2013, Courtney became a Certified Project Manager (GCPM) Gold from GIAC.

- In 2012, they acquired the GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Forensic Analyst (GCFA), and GIAC Forensic Examiner (GCFE) certifications from GIAC.
