Gus Fontenot

Gus Fontenot is a Communication Committee Member at SEDC. Gus previously worked as a Project Communications Specialist at CB&I from November 2016 to May 2017. In this role, they developed communications tactics and implemented a communications plan for a construction project. Gus also documented success stories and key events utilizing multi-media platforms and coordinated site-specific charitable contributions. Prior to CB&I, Gus worked as a Communications Specialist at Lafayette General Health from February 2012 to September 2016. In this role, they wrote press releases, photography, videography, web development, public speaking, public relations, social media networking, graphic design analysis and multi-media planning. Gus began their career as an Assistant Planner at Cameron Parish Police Jury from September 2010 to February 2012. Gus then worked as a Business Development Representative at Phillips and Jordan, Inc from August 2006 to May 2009.

Gus Fontenot graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies.
