Catarina Bombaça

Catarina Bombaça is a Software Engineer with diverse experience in software development and payments integration, currently working at Sedex since November 2023. Previously, Catarina held roles at Teya, where significant contributions included launching a wallet and debit card product and implementing an internal payments system that served over 20,000 merchants across Europe. Prior to Teya, Catarina worked as a Developer at SHIFT Management Consulting, focusing on Power Apps development, and earned recognition for training numerous participants in the region. Catarina's technical journey began with a research role at INESC-MN, developing microfluidic technology, and has included positions in education and human resources. Academic qualifications consist of a Master's in Biotechnology from Instituto Superior Técnico and a Full-Stack Web Development certificate from Ironhack, among others.
