Arnab Roy is an undergraduate researcher at the School of Molecular & Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, engaged in studying the impact of high-fat, high-sugar diets combined with chronic alcohol consumption on liver function in mice. Concurrently, Arnab serves as a caregiver at Sedgebrook, assisting senior residents with daily living needs. Additionally, Arnab is a visiting researcher at the Jalilian Lab within the University of Illinois College of Medicine, focusing on the characterization of extracellular vesicles and their therapeutic potential in wound healing. Previously, Arnab directed math tutoring at Kumon North America, providing extensive tutoring to students aged 5-15. Arnab is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, expected to graduate in May 2026, following a high school diploma from Stevenson High School in 2022.
