Nicole Gibbs has extensive experience in various roles related to strategic communications and marketing. Nicole is currently the Director of Strategic Communications at Sedgwick County Government, where they oversee external stakeholder communications and community projects. Prior to this, they worked as a Community Relations Specialist at Sedgwick County Government, where they served as the point of contact for external stakeholders and assisted with the development and publication of materials. Before joining Sedgwick County Government, Nicole worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at The Print Source, Inc. and as a Marketing Operations Coordinator at Berry Companies, Inc. Nicole also has experience in account management, public relations, and communication roles at Gabbart Communications, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Andover Public Schools, and USD 265 - Goddard Public Schools. Nicole's career began as a Marketing Assistant at Legend Senior Living and as a Marketing Intern at Wichita State University.

Nicole Gibbs attended Wichita State University from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certification in Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint 2016 and Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2016 from Microsoft. Nicole Gibbs also holds a National Career Readiness Certificate - Platinum from ACT, obtained in January 2020.
